Well Bean Project

In September 2007 the Centre development included a Children’s Centre, supporting child and family health and bringing a new vitality to the building with a full day care nursery and a steady stream of parents and children accessing services and activities.

Mental Health for All

This project seeks to increase the range of early interventions for people who are experiencing such issues as depression, anxiety and low mood. At the same time it is hoped that the project will also work to develop a greater understanding and acceptance of mental health issues in the community.

Livingwell – West Somerset

The project links closely with the West Somerset Sustainable Community Strategy 2007-2010 and aims to improve the health of all people, starting with the most vulnerable people, by:

Raising awareness of healthy lifestyles

Ensuring that facilities and services on health care are accessible

Ensuring that facilities and services to promote healthy lifestyles area accessible

Promoting exercise for all people in West Somerset using the natural environment

To develop better working relationships between and with the health service
